Course Overview – Massachusetts Responsible Vendor Training (RVT)
The Marijuana Handlers™ Massachusetts Responsible Vendor Training (RVT) course provides mandatory education for marijuana establishment agents operating within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
This course is designed to ensure that all agents understand their legal responsibilities under Massachusetts cannabis laws and regulations, including 935 CMR 500.000 and 935 CMR 501.000, as enforced by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC).
Participants will receive training on:
- The physiological and psychological effects of marijuana on the human body
- Prevention of sales and diversion to minors
- Acceptable forms of identification and proper ID verification procedures
- Compliance with Massachusetts inventory tracking and reporting requirements (METRC)
- Key Massachusetts cannabis laws and regulatory obligations
- Customer and patient possession and purchase limits
- Responsible sales practices and public safety considerations
This course is intended for dispensary agents, cultivation staff, product manufacturers, transporters, and other licensed marijuana establishment employees who are required to complete Responsible Vendor Training as a condition of employment.
Successful completion of this course, including all quizzes and the final exam, satisfies Massachusetts RVT educational requirements and provides agents with documentation of completion for employer and regulatory records.
